Just a few questions that could be answered with a thorough Home Inspection
Potentially Hazardous
Is there any evidence of the electrical breakers overheating?
Are there oversized breakers for the connected wiring?
Electrical wiring touching heater flue vents?
Does the home have aluminum wiring, and if so has it been updated?
Do the gas appliances have adequate amount of combustible air?
Is there any evidence that the gas appliances are creating carbon monoxide?
Are there proper air gaps, back flow prevention devices or anti-siphon valves on the plumbing fixtures to prevent drinking water contamination?
Is there proper fire egress in all bedrooms?
Are the receptacles properly wired and grounded?
Are appliances properly grounded/bonded?
Do you know if there are any hidden dangers in the home?
Is the home structurally sound?
Is there any evidence of past or present water intrusions?
Is there any evidence of plumbing leaks?
Are all components of the home working as intended?
Are the smoke detectors located in the proper place?
If so do they operate as intended?
Is the roofing material proper for the pitch?
Are there any signs of foundation movement?
Any evidence of prior repairs?
Any evidence of additions to the original structure?
If so is the new addition structurally sound?
Are all the appliances working as intended?
